I'm Unable to Upload Pictures on Blogger

I'm Unable to Upload Pictures on Blogger

If you're upload your photos in posts and it says Done but there is no photo in Post Editor then there is a simple solution to this problem.

Upload your photo as you do normally but when it says Done, don't close the photo uploading window. Right click on that photo and copy the image location.

Tip: In Firefox browser right, click | Copy Image Location.

Tip: In Google Chrome right, click | Copy Image URL.

Tip: In Internet Explorer 6, right click | Properties | Address:(URL).

Now you've the uploaded image URL, close that window and in the post editor, enter this code:

<img src="IMAGE URL HERE" alt="ALTERNATIVE TEXT HERE">

Replace IMAGE URL HERE with the URL of the image you copied earlier and instead of ALTERNATIVE TEXT HERE you can add some words regarding picture, these words will appear if, for some reason, the image can't be shown.

Let's check an example...

For example, I copied the URL of image in this post and now I'll use it in my post using this technique.

A tutorial on uploading photos problem

The code for this image is:

<IMG SRC="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wa6zL1GRiOs/SlB1lGTcBXI/AAAAAAAADO0/kRiCWXJyDY0/uploading+photos+problem.PNG" ALT="A tutorial on uploading photos problem">

Create a scroll bar to make my example image completely visible!

As you can see that my example image is not completely visible but same image has a scroll bar on the top. You can also add a large image with a scroll bar. The scroll bar will automatically placed if the image has too much width. Use this code:

<div style="overflow:auto;">
<IMG SRC="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wa6zL1GRiOs/SlB1lGTcBXI/AAAAAAAADO0/kRiCWXJyDY0/uploading+photos+problem.PNG" ALT="A tutorial on uploading photos problem">
</div>

Actually, I have just added a property overflow:auto; which will create a scroll bar only if needed otherwise there will be no scroll bar.

  3. Hi vaingy, maybe you can try to clear your browser cache and cookies but I'm not sure why you're having this problem. Maybe your network provider is the cause of the problem, to check that edit your blogger posts on some other computer with some other network provider and see if the Upload Image button works or not.

  5. @ Wong, I saw the problem in official Blogger help forums. Actually it is network problem, why don't you try to log in to your account on some friend's computer with a different network provider, that might be helpful.

  7. @ Adhianto, as long as the problem is with the network, it might take a long time to fix it but the good thing is that the Blogger team knows about it and they must be looking into it.

  9. @ Arnab, please try to use some other internet connection to edit and publish your posts, I guess this problem is due to the network provider!

  11. @ Gracie, this method works for most people. You can also try to upload your pics on some other host like Photobucket and then link them to your Blogger posts but that will be really painful and time-consuming.

  13. @ Anonymous, I'd suggest you to clear cache & cookies of your browser and then try again. Alternatively, you can also open your Blogger account at some friend's home just to check if the problem is with Blogger or your internet connection.
