This one looks very good. It kinda simplified but maybe it's not so simple :) Thanks for sharing this :)
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeletei can't download your template.
Hi Hector, actually I've uploaded all my stuff on Windows Live Sky Drive but they've changed their server and all the address have moved. Problem is fixed now....
ReplyDeleteGood one, tx! Used it for my blog- http://easytechnotes.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to find a help forum for this. Does anyone know of one?
ReplyDeleteHey vab04581 what kinda help forum you're talking about????
ReplyDeleteComo faço para editar meu blog? Não consigo tirar o texto da Jane e também não consigo ativar os links de home, contato e etc. A única coisa que consegui fazer foi editar o perfil. Alguém me ajuda? obrigada
ReplyDeleteHi Mimos da Dinda, can you please speak English? I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!
ReplyDeleteHow does the 'Featured Post!' work on blogger? I am not able to do it. Pls advice.
ReplyDelete@ Kit1, please see the instructions on this page again to set up "Featured Post", I've just updated them.
ReplyDeleteIs there way to get rid of the four social media links/images at the end of each post?

@ Jesse Medina, go to "Edit HTML" tab, check "Expand Widget Templates" then search and delete the following code.
ReplyDelete<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<div class='tools no-border'><div class='float-left'> </div><div class='float-right share'/></div>
<div style='margin-top:15px; margin-bottom:15px;'>
<ul class='list-items'>
<a href='YOUR FEED ADDRESS UNDER POSTS' target='_blank'><img align='' alt='Get Feed' src='http://infinitytheme.googlepages.com/feed99.png' style='width:100px; height:100px;padding: 0; border: none;'/></a>
<a expr:href='"http://digg.com/submit?phase=2url=" + data:post.url + "&title=" + data:post.title' rel='external nofollow' target='_blank'><img align='' alt='Share on Digg' src='http://infinitytheme.googlepages.com/Digg99.png' style='width:100px; height:100px;padding: 0; border: none;'/></a>
<a class='timestamp-link' expr:href='"http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=" + data:post.url + "&title=" + data:post.title' title='permanent link'><img align='' alt='Share on StumbleUpon' src='http://infinitytheme.googlepages.com/stumbleupon99.png' style='width:100px; height:100px;padding: 0; border: none;'/></a>
<a class='two' expr:href='"http://del.icio.us/post?url=" + data:post.url + "&title=" + data:post.title' rel='external nofollow' target='_blank'><img align='' alt='Share on Delicious' src='http://infinitytheme.googlepages.com/delicious99.png' style='width:90px; height:90px;padding: 0; border: none;'/></a></ul>
</div>
</b:if>
So I installed Disqus as the comment moderator because I was having issues with the built-in comment function (and because disqus is sweet), but I noticed that when viewing the front page or even an article, it will always list the comments at "0" even when comments have been made through disqus - is there a way for the number of comments to show correctly?
ReplyDeleteURL is whatthegod.blogspot.com
@ Jesse Medina, I don't have any experience with Disqus so I'm afraid, I can't help you in this manner.
ReplyDeleteAh, I see.
ReplyDeleteCan you assist me with removing the area where it shows the number of comments?
@ Jesse Medina, go to Layout -> Edit HTML & check Expand Widget Templates. After that find and delete the following code:
ReplyDelete<div class='float-right'> <a expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl'><span>Comments</span> (<data:post.numComments/>)</a></div>
Thanks...I actually wanted to see how things would work with a different commenting system and discovered that Intense Debate commenting system pulls that information just fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help!
Where did the previous instructions go? Like for editing the Featured post section?
ReplyDelete@ Jesse Medina, previous instructions have been added with the download link.
ReplyDeletequick question, how do i enable the "Older Posts" "Newer Posts" links at the bottom of the main blog page (not the post page)? There doesn't seem to be any so my readers can't browse through the older posts. Thanks.
ReplyDelete@ Niq, gimme your blog address so that I can have a look.
ReplyDeleteon firefox is no "older posts" button, but the internet explorer shows it.
ReplyDeletehow can i fix this?

usefully blog, nice to meet you^^
ReplyDeleteI've downloaded the updated template in my test blog, but it only seems to function properly in IE. In Firefox, I still can't see the links to older and newer pages, although the links to older and newer posts are alright. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.
ReplyDelete@ Giselle de Almeida, I'm using Firefox and I can see the older posts & newer post links on the demo blog. I think you've corrupt template elements. Don't worry, I'll inform you how you can correct that problem. Just leave me an email, thanks.
