Vikiworks Infinity is by far the most beautiful theme I've ever seen. It was originally released on Smashing Magazine as a freebie and converted to Blogger by me.

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous, just goto "Layout" section, then open "Edit HTML" tab. There, you can search for "link0" and change it.

Great template and i like the theme it has a dark look, posts in columns and amazingly colorful background. All the feature are attractive and it looks really nice. Keep sharing the more theme like that.

ReplyDeletehello! i think you need to add another div to set it's allignmnt to center, called it outer-wrapper and set it's margin to "auto"

for the CSS part:
#outer-wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
padding: set me ;
width: ???px;
}
of course a div,
paste this one in xml after the <body>
<div id='outer-wrapper'>
and of course you need to close it,
place the closing tag before </body>
that's it.

Hi Maggy, actually I made a lot of changes in this template because of it's massive popularity so may be that's the reason it's working fine in IE.... I think you can try to use a fresh copy of this theme.....

ReplyDeleteHi Maggy, I've tried this template on Internet Explorer 6 and it works good on that. However, the background images are in .PNG format which aren't correctly displayed by IE6 otherwise everything else is fine.

ReplyDelete@ .............. well, there is now way to automatically make your images point to your post URL. You've to manually change the address with which your image is linked, by default it is linked to itself that's why you see the image when you click on the image in the post.
ReplyDeleteThis is a sample image code, you can see code like this when you upload an image in Blogger and you're working in Edit HTML mode:

to make your image post to your post, you need to manually change "LINKED IMAGE URL HERE" with your post URL but don't do anything with "SOURCE IMAGE URL HERE".

ReplyDelete@ Anonymous and freetimes, when we upload an image in Blogger, it is by default linked to image itself so if you'll click on an image (whether on post page or main page) it will take you to the image itself.
ReplyDeleteTo fix this problem, you can use non-clickable images in your posts. Just upload your image as usual and see the image code but remember that you can only see the code if you're working in the Edit HTML Mode so the code is something like this:

You'll need to copy the first address which contains s1600-h factor but remove the -h from the address and paste it to the following structure like this:

@ agustina'Nadie, I think you've modified the template a lot or maybe you're using the older version of this template. I suggest you to download this theme right from here. By the way, your site columns are looking good but please reduce the number of posts on the main page.

@ Hopy, just make sure that your images are centered and come first in the post. The images will be automatically re-sized but I'd suggest you to use Blogger to upload images because you might face bandwidth problems with Photobucket.
